Hello, blog of mine, it’s been a year since we’ve last met!
Since then, ¡Vámonos! has undergone a bit of a makeover (check out the different tabs at the top). I’m moving on from my adventures abroad to some adventures on the domestic front — Jesuit Volunteer Corps in New York City. I’ll be detailing those experiences in social justice, faith, community and simple living starting in August.
Until then, I’ll be volunteering with Community Initiatives for Children in Minneapolis writing news letters and press releases in English and Spanish. I’ll also be studying intensely for the GRE amidst various summer shenanigans and attempting to live parsimoniously (thanks for that one, Graduate Record Exam) so I can prepare for not having an income next year.
